About SSAS
Sundress Sandals and Shades (#SSAS) is a uniquely themed concept aimed at celebrating womanhood. The organizer, Cindy Thomas, designed this event to give women the opportunity to look and feel extra special for a day, while giving back to those women in need of tangible assistance. #SSAS represents everything beautiful about a woman, her beauty inside and out, her passions, her strengths, her ability to nurture life and the love she so fiercely defends for her family. “A Sundress is the ultimate statement, I am woman. It adorns a woman in the splendor of who she is and reinforces the fact that she is a Queen in every aspect of her life,” said Cindy. The organizer herself has been subjected to all the struggles and hardships that comes along with being a woman, a single mother and a survivor. Her story is not a unique one, as many women have been exposed to the same hardships. With that in mind the organizer wanted to provide an event where women can unwind in a relaxed atmosphere amongst her peers. #SSAS is bold, fresh, and unafraid of life’s challenges.
SSAS 2023
The next presentation of SSAS 2023 is coming this Summer. SSAS is spreading it's wings throughout the Caribbean and North America, the event may very well be coming to a city near you. SSAS patrons are looking forward to 2023 event calendar. Patrons can look forward to being entertained with music from a few of our best local female Disc Jockeys, live entertainment and lots of giveaways. There will catering and desserts to appease the appetite. A Photo Booth to take fun selfies, Health and Wellness Booth, a makeup refreshment bar, along with sampling. There will be Art, Fashion, charity and much more. Women will also be given the opportunity to display, promote or sell their business products as SSAS also aims to highlight female entrepreneurship. Men are also welcome to come and share in the celebration of “us” and share in the fundraising opportunity.
